In 2001 H. E. Mipham Rinpoche founded the International Friends of Mipham Rinpoche which has the goal of creating awareness and collecting funds from practioners worldwide to support the practice of the monks at his monastery in Tibet.

General donations can be made to the monastery and it is also possible to sponsor an individual monk or lay-practioner (Ngagpa). With a donation of 150 EUR you make it possible for a monk to live in the monastery for one year. This donation covers the basic food supply for one monk.
